Our client, a global leader in precision control components and systems is seeking a PCB Production Operator on a 12-month fixed term contract, great scope for this role to go permanent. Overview of Responsibilities (full job description available on request):
Prepare components for manual assembly processes.
Operate the assembly equipment necessary to fulfill assigned tasks.
Arrange equipment setup and conduct process-related measurements as needed.
Perform prescribed maintenance on operator machines.
Execute manual assembly of PCBs and mechanical hardware.
Inspect and rectify PCBs and components based on established criteria.
Handle typical components such as printed circuit cards and electronic components.
What the ideal PCB Production Operator looks like:
Experience in Soldering, SMT or Surface Mount is required.
A minimum of 2 to 3 years relevant experience/knowledge of assembly functions would be preferable.
Knowledge of IPC7711/IPC7721 and IPC J-Standard would be preferable.
